Help Turtle Help!

I have a hemands or greek tourtise that i got from a friend and he has trouble eatingbecause his beak is really long idk if i should trim it or file it or just leave it alone he can eat its ust hard for him.
Thanks for any help!

Re: Turtle Help!

You nedd to take him to a qualified Chelonian Vet and have his beak trimmed. Ask to watch so that you will know how to do it properly the next time.
Supplying a cuttlebone for it to gnaw on for the calcium can sometimes help reduce the need for beak trimming as can allowing natural grazing.
