Baby Box Turtles
Sorry, no pictures yet, but will have some up on thursday. The mother layed eggs a couple of months ago and I put them in a custom incubater and they actaully hatched. I was wondering if anyone knows how to get them to eat. and what is the best thing to feed these little guys. There are two of them, they were born on Saturday sept 4th. So just a couple of days old. they are in a 10 gallon tank with bed-a-beast for substrate. If anyone has any tips they are appreciated. Thanks

Neonate box turtles start off on a diet of very small earthworms, slugs and thinly sliced, peeled cucumber.

I found one years ago that was very young. I kept him for a few weeks and released him.
The only things I could get him to eat were earthworms, apple pieces, and watermelon.
