More specifically that is ???

I know it's one of the asian boxies , BUT I am hung up on whether or not it is the Chinese or the Malayan one actually. It's head reflects more so the Malayan BUT the carapace reflects more so the Chinese.... Here's some pics of it...

I don't know much about asiatic box turtles, but looks like a Cuora amboinensis (Malayan Box Turtle) - there should be plenty of care sheets out there, if thats what he is. Theres actually four subspecies, with a slightly different look to them, so make sure you check lots of pictures/sites for verification. =)

BTW I had been told it was a chinese boxie. Didn't quite look like such to me 100%, plus it was represented as a chinese but was being kept in 100% aquatic husbandry also by the previous owner.. which didn't make sense to me. Now it makes sense as to why it has been kept as an aquatic boxie hehe.
