It sure is
Carettochelys is the only freshwater turtle that has flippers.
I didn't buy these, but if you were to purchase on you would be lookin at around $500
The care is not to bad but you have to be able to maintain perfect water quality with the ph around 8.2 with around 86 degree water temps for the day and 82 at night. The clencher is the fact that they become very aggressive towards each other after around 6 months of age and as adults can reach weights of over 40 pounds. Definately not a good pet turtle but a worthwhile breeding project, maybe in 15 to 20 years I will have some babies

ditto. But they sound too hard to care for and 40 pounds is a lot.

Here are some better shots of the little flatfoots.
He finally decided that he had about enough with the pictures.

Lovely, those are fantastic animals! Maybe some hope for everyone who loves these fellas, I believe large scale captive breeding is underway in Indonesia of Carettochelys, and already, they are very commonly available in Singapore, where I am. They come at around S$20-35, which is around US$12-$17, for juveniles around the size unboa has. I know the prices sound unbelieveable, but it's true. Hopefully they'll be more widely available in the US soon. They are really good pets, except that they grow very big. They seem to do well in both freshwater and brackish, and possibly in seawater too. There are theories that individuals colonised Northern Australia from New Guinea.
Cheers! All the best with a couple of really cool turtles.
