RES shedding question.

How do you get the shed off Redear sliders? Mine are shedding (or atleast look like it) all the time. There is skin hanging off the on their necks and legs. When we pick them up and try to help get it off they pull in their shells. Thanks in advance.
Dani

I wouldnt worry about it, it just sloths off naturally. Just change the water regually to get rid of the old skin that is floating in the water as to keep the water clean. And as far as the shedding, just let it do its coarse and it was just sloth off.

I agree just let it go.

If you must pick at it (I used to with my Snapper, he hated it!) you can run them under warm water and use a SOFT tooth brush and gently take it off...works like a charm.
