look on kingsnake... and I'm not being a butt or anything, but make sure u do some studying on breeding before u try it... Just since the last thread was about how big a female should be... Just read up ALOT before u do it... There is alot of risk involved and u can lose snakes if they aren't properly prepared...

Re: Does anyone have for sale a...
I know, I have been reading a lot of information in the past weeks on breeding, some information contradicts other information. Some say wait 3-4 years other say they have bred at 2.5 year old females. But I'm going with 3.5 years old at least. But I am getting the basics down pat for now. I also know a guy that lives close to me that owns a reptile shop who has been breeding snakes for over fifteen years and said he would help me out. He has been in Costa Rica for the last couple months so I have not had the chance to talk to him about breeding yet and have been posting on here for some advice. Other than the breeding part just on general care, my boas are extremely healthy and get treated as if they are my own kids. I believe they are as healthy and as tame as you can get. I will get some pictures up of them and their enclosures tonight.
When I first bought my Female Suriname, I got her from a pet shop, I wouldn't usually but she was too gorgeous to pass up. After taking her for her check up at the Vets I found out she has mites, hook worm, parasites... She had this rare parasite that not even the local Herp vet knew what it was. The Toronto Zoo Vet even took interest in it. I’ll also post a picture of it. Fortunately, now she is as healthy as can be and is clean of everything and doing great!

Re: Does anyone have for sale a...
Age isn't nearly as relevant as size. We have an albino female that is 4 years old and she is still too small to breed. She eats very well, has never regurged.... just a slow grower I guess. She may not be ready until she is 5 or 6 years old at the rate she's going, lol. Also keep in mind that when breeding an albino female, you need your gestation temps just a tad higher.
Other than that, good luck on finding the right girlie for you.
