getting out of the hobby sale (2004 fem bci 100% het albino, cage, hook, rats)

first of all, I realize how sleazy it looks to have your first post being a "for sale" post...I am pretty active on several boards and got referred over here when I mentioned I was selling my snake

down to business:
I am selling my 04 female boa, she is the last snake in my collection, as I am getting out of the hobby

100% het for albino produced by alex hue reptiles

the boa is just over 5 feet long and 5 pounds in weight (last I checked (2 months ago), I will get exact weight and length if requested)

the snake is in great health, always sheds perfectly, never refuses a meal (I accidentally tried to feed it during shed once and it still ate)

this is a very attractive boa, IMHO

I am looking for $450 OBO or $500 delivered to Chicago, Indianapolis, Louisville, Memphis, KC or anywhere else within 250 miles (or so)of St Louis....that is a pretty generous area, I am not interested in shipping the snake at this time because I dont know how and have never done it before

please note the exaggerated OBO, dont be afraid to pm me with an offer, I am easy going, easy to work with and a good communicator, dont be afraid to offer something too low...there's only one way to find out and I'll let you know what I think of the offer...please dont be afraid to PM me

PS: I also have between 3 and 8 large frozen rats that will go to the buyer for free

I also have a plywood cage wired with about 12" of 11" heat tape hooked up to a rheostate, the cage is 4'x2'x18"h with siliconed seams...the entire front of the cage is plexiglass for good viewing....this is a home-made cage and looks like it too, although its not that bad

additionally I have a snake hook available that I bought from someone a few years ago made from a converted golf club, it is an awesome hook

I will include all of that to whomever purchases the snake if they want it....this is bonus stuff if wanted

if the snake buyer doesnt want it, I will sell the stuff separately...obviously shipping is not an option for the cage as it would cost you less to build it yourself than to pay for shipping, let alone the price of the cage

	Heterozygous Heterozygous - the animal carries the gene for a genetic trait but does not outwardly demonstrate the trait. Example: A boa that is het for albino looks normal but carries the albino gene. When it is bred to another het for albino boa or an albino boa, a percentage of the offspring will be albino.

Oh wow. It never occurred to me that this could be just a hobby. Better tell my snakes. They think they are my kids. They even convinced me!
