New meego pic from today
Hello all..........
meego's daddy here (Scott, Leyla's husband). I took this pic of meego this morning. I thought it was worth a post. He was getting a morning drink form our waterfall out back.... We measured him today, at 10 mnths he is exactly 3 feet, and around 7.5 lbs.... He eats well, and gets daily walks..... Today he shared a freeze pop with me as well, he almost ended up snatching the whole thing from me.........
NICOLE: Today she was looking @ alabama, who knows we may wind up Burt's neighbors!!!! .... I hope all of your tribe is well, tell the TIMinator I said "yo brutha"... Maybe this summer we can all hang and get stoopit...... or at least have some fun trying.
Have good everything or die trying............

Meego has a black head since when scott? I remember at the expo he was white headed?? Or is my mind growing old with the rest of me now??
Tim is trying to handle my obession with reptiles in the best way he knows how...considering he never had an interest before. He's not doing too bad actually...I just think he's scared that one day a shipment willl come and it will be a Komodo
He knows how much I love those lizards.......so he's happy with the new hognose that will stay so small

Tegu's get along with mice, for about a second or two. Then things go terribly wrong for the mouse 99.9% of the time.....
Generally, Meego gets along with any animal that doesn't fit in his mouth. He actually enjoys spending time with our dogs, so much so that at times I wonder if he thinks he is a dog himself. The only memeber of our zoo that hasn't hung out with meego is "OPI", he is a blind geriatric common ferret. Chances are meego would think he's a big mouse, and also think that he could fit into his mouth, so I haven't introduced them..... bad idea even though because of Opi's size meego would have as hard of a time as a one armed paper hanger while trying to cram him down the carvernous void that he calls his mouth......

Thank god it's always 4:20 somewhere on this big ball on which we live.............

Yeah scott my ferret sees the tegus through cages only---Nico will go up to the bars of the ferret cage and flick his tongue in the ferrets face. The ferret cocks her head and tries to play with the tegu...still don't trust it though
