A pic of meego for you all!!!
Hi,
Well, after reading all the replies, I felt the need to show off my baby!!! I have attempted to attach the pic to this post, and I have uploaded a recent pic of meego to the gallery, hopefully this link works if the attachment doesnt:
http://redtailboa.net/gallery/showal...d=740&uuid=359
Meego has taken to wandering lately, when he isnt basking or eating, he free roams my house. So we have had a few "where is meego" incidents...luckily for me I have a dog, who always seems to know where to find him!!! lol Besides, how do you lose a 3ft lizard????
enjoy, everyone!!!

Beats me. It also beats me how I spent well over an hour in a secure snake room hunting an 8 foot burm one night. I think he was circling the room on me because I finally turned around caught him coming out from behind the freezer I had just looked behind for the 3rd time.

Hi,
Yes, meego is potty trained, and goes outside on warm days, and on newspaper on cold days! We trained him in less than a day. People seem amazed when I tell them this!!! lol

WOW LEYLA HE GOT BIG. Some backround:
Leyla got meego from the 2003 daytona show. He was TINY...I mean he just lost the little green head...really cute but small.
Since then he has turned into a cat size pet and if my predictions are correct he will be a dog by next spring
VERY cute.
What's he eating these days?

Wow, great looking lizard! You really can potty train em? Oh and does your dog not bother him when he finds him? Or is the dog a bit scared of him?

hey,
actually I have 2 dogs, one is terrified of meego, and the one that constantly finds him and follows him (zoey) absolutely loves him. They hang out together quite often, and I completely trust them to be together, here is a pic as proof, meego is so comfortable around her in this pic, that he has his eyes closed! lol
enjoy....

Cute pair. What kind of dog is Zoey? I think I see some lab/rottie in her.

Hey,
Zoey is a boxer/lab mix, we expected her to be bigger than she is, but she just stayed kind of short and round! lol
I will have to find a close-up of meego for you all.
Thanks for all the compliments!

Yep, I also have an african sulcata tortoise, named sulley who is coming up on three years old this summer. He is a tank!! Basically just an eating machine, although he knows his name, and will follow me around if I bring him in the house. He and meego also get along great, and I will probably be designing them an enclosure to live in together this year. (Don't worry Nicole, I asked Bert, and he said it was fine! hee hee)
Still working on finding a good closeup of meego for you...

Oh I believe it. Tegus are so sweet by nature and tortoises are so calm and sweet too---I wish I lived in a warm climate so I could get a big tortoise. I just can't see where on earth I would put it....is Sulley still coming indoors in the winter?
