New Tegu Pics
I uploaded some photos of the animals in the photo group and thought I'd share some of Nico

If you think he's big wait until you see his wife LOL
She is HUGE....knocks him around like he's a doll
They are really sweet animals though. Great with children.
Nico is just under 4 feet---his better half is about 3 inches longer (but very fat!). He LOVES the children's playroom---when I let him out he always ends up in there .

Yeah he scares the crap out of service people---the cable guy was petrified. They are so harmless but I guess at first glance they seem intimidating.

A number of years ago Bert and Hester invited me and my wife to visit them and we spent a good many hours going in and out of cages, it was amazing. Needless to say we came home with an Argentine, and it is still our big baby

It is a black, we got to sit in a cage full of babies, hundreds of babies and pull them out under from some carpet and pick one out

Aren't they ADORABLE when they are green and tiny?
My female is a black headed tegu (I have to take a more recent one where she is not shedding ):

The babies are definately cute, and that is one well fed female you have there. Mine just came out of hibernation and is just starting to eat again.

Ryan, I just had this mental image of the Tegu at the front door wagging it's tail and barking like my dog. Your dead on, I'm sure anyone who broke in would be more than surprised! LOL

*sigh* Every time I decide I don't want an Argie B&W Tegu just yet, I read about them and I want them all over again. I don't have the option to keep an Argie B&W due to space. But one of these days, I will get one. BTW, Nicole...I can't recall if you own any dogs or cats. If so, how do you go about making sure nothing happens to either animal? Especially when the tegus are out and about.
