Re: Adopting Another Tegu
I tip my hat to you. Not simply because of what you are doing for the tegu, but because i can tell your heart is in it.

Re: Adopting Another Tegu
okay so few delays, tegu lady is dropping off the big guy at my place tomorrow night!
I really hope she's been hibernating him, I'd really just like to get a fresh start working with him next season.
Is it possible to hibernate a 4 year old 3.5ft male even if hes never been hibernated before? I have the conditions set so that bones is going under. I hope it will work for him too!
I'm excited and nervous

Re: Adopting Another Tegu
HE'S HERE! or she? I don't know it's too skinny to tell and I couldn't find buttons.
Anyways, here he is! I expected bigger for 4 years old, but so far he's super calm & rather slow. Just doesn't like to be held, wiggles a lot when you pick him up (the whole tail swirling thing) - we'll work on that in time.
Here's some pics in the feeding bucket till I get him settled in!
skinny! where are your "jowls?"
missing lots of toes on the front feet poor baby...
the newest addition! can't wait to make him healthy
