. its best to do a 3 day schedule for hatchling-juvenile. for ex
day1(monday)mouse or rat(as many as it will eat) and fruit/veggies
day 2(tuesday) crickets/worms (as many as it will eat and fruit/veggies
day 3 (wednesday) mouse or rat(as mnay as it will eat) and fruit/veggies
day1 (thrusday)
day 2 (friday) and etc.
for adults a 7 day schedule
day 1(monday)mouse or rat(as many as it will eat) and fruit veggies
day 4(thursday) crickets/worm(as many as it will eat), and fruit veggies
day 7(sunday) mouse or rat(as many as it will eat) and fruit/veggies.
day 1(wednesday)and etc
(all rats/mice should be f/t
tegus require a humidity of 60-80% basking spot between 100-110F, minimum cage size for adult shouled be 6x3x3, but 8x4x4 is better. as adults they need a 1ft depth of mulch to dig in, thats why u need such a tall cage. cypress mulch is a good substrate, need a large water dish that they can soak/ drink. 1 hide on the warm side, 1 on the cool side. o, and they require
