Really, I wouldn't do that, even if your mom doesn't make you give the tegu away, she proboly won't let you get any more herps.  That would stink!

if u read a coule post up i said i changed my mind and that i was gonna be completely honest. if i get a tegu, that and my beardie will be the only herps i have until i graduate college. it was hard enough getting a beardie. it will be hard to get the tegu but i know how to sit my mom down and talk to her. the 2 wll be all i really want. i wont make enough money to support more than maybe a leo.(this is with a tegu and beardie) i would rather give lots of love to 2 herps, then a little love to many herps.

I agree with that. Yoda is the only one that i will ever have that will require attention on a daily basis. He will be spoiled the rest of his life. Im content with snakes their easy to take care of and nocturnal so i have something i can take out at 2 a.m if i want to.
