Very nice. I love tegus, probably the only lizard I would consider owning.

They are so great, a little too smart for their own good. Mine could open the latch on his cage after a few months. Cute little one.

It's all ewe and ah...then later there's running, and screaming.....

Golden tegus are notorious biters. Be careful later 
And try to handle as much as possible now.

tegus basically do what they want. My male Nico hated the cage and broke out every chance he got. Now he has free roaming privilages of the big herp room and is fine--the female Rocco roams too but she was never the type to care about the cage anyway.
