Volume of food to feed a tegu

I have read a lot of websites and caresheets and they do a great job at detailing what kinds of foods to feed Argentine black and white tegus, but there isn't much information on how MUCH food to offer.

This is especially confusing because tegus are often aggressive eaters and over-eat and become obese, and thus cannot feed them like some other herps where you can feed as much as they are willing to injest.

So approximately how MUCH food do you feed a Argentine black and white? I understand that each individual lizard differs, but there has got to be an average starting point that you work from. Please separate answer into hatchling, juveniles and adults.

Thanks!

I bought my tegu at one year of age, so did not have to deal with fast growing juvie. I feed my 3ft red tegu fruit everday, protein every other day. For protein meals I feed on rotating basis this menu - adult mouse or hampster (pre killed), can of wellness brand cat food (human quality ingredients) 100 super worms, meat "blend" - cooked - chicken giblets, pork, hamburger. I took my tegu into local reptile specialty shop and was assured it was not overweight and helthy. Tegus are naturally stocky in build. A good guide to go by is as long as it can walk without dragging its belly and has wrinkles in its skin it is not obese you could try this rotating style menu for protein amount I am not 100% sure but as much as it can eat at a sitting. when it stops, remove any remaining. and only once each day.
