is the tegu a baby or an adult?
Where did you buy from?
I have a male and a female...both from Agama...one chacoan one black tegu--both agentine giants

they are more tame then most dogs or cats.
Nico--my male goes to education presentations with me...children in wheelchairs hold him and preschoolers play with him...they both rock. They are not in cages and when I put Nico in the yard he walks around like a dinosaur

I do it at the children's schools--and sometimes groups come to tour the herproom---it just so happened that the special ed teacher fell in love with Nico and made me go around to all the disabled kids...he was wearing a little pink shirt and everything LOL
