uh oh...
was just reading over the results chart on the reptile uv website. i currently have the mega ray flood eb and i noticed from the chart that it actually gives off no UV A? Am I reading this incorrectly? Will I now have to add an additional light to provide UV A? YIKES...

to help sort this out better:
i've got the mega ray flood eb, and a ceramic heat emitter currently set up for her basking spot. i was quickly browsing some reptile stores and i see that it's almost impossible to find a bulb that produces just UVA without also producing UVB and or heat, both of which I do not want. i hope i'm not hurting my tegu...

where does it say on the reptile uv site it produces no UVA?
And why would you want no UVB/heat for a tegu???

It also shows no UVA output for the sun, so I'm thinking that chart isn't quite complete.

no of course they put out UVA---it's just that UVB, and output/distance is the concern of most reptile owners (uva you can get from a screw in nothing bulb)---which is why the chart concentrates on UVB output and documentation.
