I just was thinking how cool it would be if you had a messenger where if you was wanting to talk to someone back and forth it would be alot easier than keep posting and another thing that would be helpful is if maybe some how you could update that last forum post box to where it updates like every minute or so without having to refresh or anything

There are a couple of options for you....
There is a private messaging feature built into the site and there is also an IRC chat room that is set up. You can find someone in the chat room almost any time of the day on any day of the week.

Yepper, there are a few of use that stay in the IRC room all day, also, a few of us also have our Yahoo IM or MSN messenger listed.

Easier than an immer and instead of talking to one person, it can be a lot at once
