Just a Thought
So, I had an idea today. A lot of forums have moderators for each section of the site. I.e, there could be one assigned to the Boa forum, one to the Pythons, one to the monitors, and so on. I'm not sure if that's something you could do here or not, but it seems like it might make it easier on the mods if they each had a section to keep up with, instead of everyone trying to be everywhere at once.
Just figured I'd throw that out there.

Re: Just a Thought
We started off that way many years ago. But we found it was much easier to have global mods. Before if the Boa Mod saw something bad in the Python forum, he had to contact the Python Mod or an Admin to fix it. This made some issues and some bad posts stayed up for way too long waiting for the right mod to sign in. By being global, we eliminated that issue.

Re: Just a Thought
It also led to an admin (who is no longer here) shuffling the mods and their forums like a deck of cards. ("What do I know from 'Other Lizards'). If you think some of the outrage you see when a thread gets closed is bad, you should see it when it's a dozen or more mods doing it.
