does anyone else feel this site is ridiculous with its profanity watching i got like 3 infraction points for blatant profanity..... I didnt even say anything but heck with two L's and Urinating with a p......this is not profanity i think you all need to step back and look at your profanity evaluation scale..........RIDICULOUS...I even had a post removed with the link to my myspace page because it contained a bad word...I DIDNT even write out the word i let you figure out what it was!!!!!!!!!

You are not the first person to be upset by the strict profanity rules on this website, and you will not be the last.

There are children present on this website, so we keep a 'G' rating. If you don't want to hear your 5 year old say it, don't say it on RTB. Ever.

If you cannot abide by our rules, please don't post.

Come on now Brian. Your pictures are too funny for you not to be posting. Just keep it clean. There's a time and a place for profanity. This is by far the best reptile website on the internet, and keeping your posts G-Rated is a small price to pay to be a member.

Look I am the owner of the site and I don't like it either...heck my other sites don't have rules like this. However, redtailboa.net is huge...and we have members ranging from 5 years old (seriously) to people in there 80's. We want the site to be clean.

Just keep it clean. It is not that hard to refrain from using vulgar language.

Ouchie..As much as I would like to have things be more adult language wise, I understand the desire to be family friendly, and I support it. There are plenty of other places on the internet that allow more adult language and jokes, but if you want the reptile aspect, its just one of those rules you have to abide by.

Quite honestly I hear enough profanity, even mild that to come here is a bit of a relief. Although I have to catch myself sometimes.

Now that you know the TOS, it won't be hard to stay in it, and still post and have fun

its ok that for the positive posts but I my self dont like to be censored on what i have to say and i feel that the things i have posted do not contain profanity.....i mean come on i received an infraction for abbreviating assistant with the first 3 letters in a post while talking about someones job! Im not saying i wont respond if asked a question or if i might need help, but I am saying i will not be posting for fun........animal questions only!

and please dont respond to this telling me this is th TOS if you dont like it then leave......I understand

come on man, you a smart guy. You HAVE to know what you are doing when you abbreviate assisant. We are not just censoring you, EVERYONE gets censored. Let me tell you, i have a horrible mouth! BUT when Shane build this site, his rules stated NO swearing. This was a rule before you joined, it a rule now, and it will be a rule when both you and ME leave this site.

You can live it man, i know you can , IF I CAN!
