Perhaps a Classifieds Cleanup?

I went and checked out some classified ads and clicked so only boas would show up...the third one down was posted in January of 2005...and there were at least 3 pages. I've e-mailed a few people and havn't gotten any type of response. They've probably sold the snake already and still have the ad up. Perhaps an expiration after 2 or 3 months should be set?

I think the classifieds default to most viewed. There is a drop down at the top to change it to most recent.

There is a setting for how long you want the add to run for. I always set it to 2 weeks. I figure that if nobody has bought it by then no one was interested anyhow.

I guess some peeps don't see it or set it for the longest possible time. If i was selling a snake, I would not be upset with a 2 month limit. 3 or 4 days...or a week before the ad expires, I get an e-mail saying "your ad will expire in x days"...If they've still got the animal they're selling, they can take the time to renew the ad.... copy & paste

And if your snake doesn't sell within 2 months...face it. You are stuck with it. Buy it a bigger cage.

lol yes that or it's a sign that your ad just isn't appealing...yet another reason to renew the ad and spiff it up a bit.
