I think it would be great if a Board of Inquiry was put on the site. It would let those who have had good deals get the words out for people who are either looking to deal with certain people or for someone who is looking for a good breeder to check out. I think it could save some people alot of money and heartache. What does everyone think?

This topic is all ready being thrown around in the admin forum a bit.
Nothing is final as of yet, but so far it is not looking likely.
I'd say stick with Fauna's BOI for now and don't hold your breath waiting for noe here

More hassle and bad blood than its worth. The mods will be busier than one-armed paper hangers trying to stop the fights. I'd say we use Fauna's....

Its not worth the trouble. Fauna's is well established and very active, no point trying to build one here. People are free to tell their experiences in applicable forums already.
There are things I'd like to see happen here but that's not on my list.

Take it from me it isn't worth the effort. Fauna is known for the BOI and that was and is their claim to fame. Many have tried it to various degrees of success but the end result is never what Fauna has gotten.
Now some may have the idea of an unmoderated forum such as the War Room on TRR. It can be a good and a bad thing. Not saying I am against it, but if you think the BOI would be a pain in the neck try having something like that on a site. I don't care what anyone says it still bleeds out into the general forums from time to time and that here would mean warning points and a ban if it kept up. I still to this day don't know how we keep it from spreading to the general boards like wildfire, but we have some really good members over there and at most we might have a slip every month or so. It did get bad when we first started it but after a couple of rules it has done pretty good. But I don't really think something like that would fit in here honestly.

The BOI on this site would only serve as a poor copy of what has already been created out there. What Tom, Nicole, and Kent have already said is 100% true.
We have a reviews section which includes a section specifically for reptile breeders. If you have a great experience, or a bad one for that matter, please share it there. That is the perfect forum on this board.
