can we change a posting rule

You know how when your writing something fast, and come back to look at it, but it isn't want you meant to say, or came out wrong? but its too late to edit it? well can we make it so that we can edit it whenever we would like too?

We have all done something like that at some time or another...just don't worry about it. The time limit is a good thing. It gives members a chance to read over and change something if they just submitted it, but does not allow members to write inflammatory remarks and then erase them leaving no record of their transgressions.
If it really must be changed, contact a staff member, explain what happened and ask them to change it. I think you will find most of the staff more than reasonable about it.
