come chat, its a ghost town
Hey guys, I'm a frequent visitor of the rtb.net chat room.
Lately it's been really dead in there, we could use some more regulars to chat
with. So come join us! Would love to see the chat have a decent amount
of regulars, its really a great place to talk about anything. I think a lot of people
on the forums probably don't even know it exists despite the link in site
navigation.

I have tried to get in there, and it tells me somethign about "unable to load interface" So Idk whats going on. Any suggestions??

When you open the Java Chat console that is attached to the website, it gives you a "Block 'unsafe element'" yes or no question. The right answer is No.
If you hit Yes, you will need to delete your Cache, cookies, and Java Cache and try again

I frequent the chat as well during the week, however on the weekends I am most of the time gone. Java sucks - I use mibbit.

I have the same problem getting on rtb IRC from work but for some reason I can use arachnochat which is a gamesurge network channel for arachno boards.

way back in the day we used to have a scheduled chat day/time, perhaps we should try and get that going again. I for one would like to have that going again.

Its hit or miss if there are folks chatting.
Two of the three in there right now are just bots. I am always in there, but not always able to chat.
Most folks get the idea that they come in, say hello and in less than 30 seconds they get a reply. The average join/part time for folks is less than a minute.
