40 gal breeder or 55 gallon with lid
anyone know someone selling one of these or if you are selling one for a relatively low price near woodridge let me know. been searching craigslist and other spots but people are asking for more than what a new one costs. any help would be appreciated.

I'd try searching Craig's Lists other than your own city, if you've not already. I've found what I was looking for for half the price half an hour away versus right down the street.

Re: 40 gal breeder or 55 gallon with lid
Oh, believe me, I know.
I'll never buy a used-aquarium again.
The last one I bought was a 75 used for salt water turtles and a salt water catfish. The floor is so scratched you can hardly see through it, and if you look closely, you can see scratches on the sides as well from the turtles' claws.
There were calcium deposits everywhere and it took me four hours to clean having it stand upright in my bath tub.
I paid $60.00 and I'll tell you what... For what I had to go through to get it clean, I'd have gone with one for $150 brand new. Never again.
