I was wondering where's a good place to buy heat tape. Also can I hook it up to rubbermaids. Do you think it would waste more electricity using heat tape or heating pads? Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

Heat tape can be purchased from The Bean Farm or at a reptile show. It needs to be hooked up to a thermostat or rheostat.

I believe heat pads use more energy than heat tape does, but I'm not quite positive on that.
