I just ordered 1000 crickets from these guys, and when I received them, every last one was dead!
Anyone else have any experience with them? Is this just a freak shipping accident, or should I find a new cricket supplier?

did they arrive on time? was shipping overnight, or longer? we got a shipment of crickets at work over a day late, every one of them was dead. it was freezing outside, and even with heatpacks and good packing, they all died, and this was supposed to be an overnight shipment. normally when we get them on time there are a few dead ones, but the others are always ok.

It arrived on time, priority overnight FedEx. Nothing was wrong except, you know, the crickets being dead and all.

They replaced everything, it came today with not a dead one in the box.
The only trouble was that they emailed me yesterday saying that the crickets would be here today. What if I wasn't going to be home to receive them? Also there was no tracking number. Also, no signature required. The FedEx guy left them on the porch and left. Luckily I heard him as he was leaving so I knew they were out there.
Overall, this place gets about 2.5/5 from me.

Eh. I'm giving them the benefit of doubt for it being the holidays. People get busy this time of year. The 2 was for the free and prompt replacement, the .5 was the benefit.

are you sure they were dead??? Sometimes, if they get cold, they will become dormant, until they warm up again...I've had 1000 crickets laying in a pile for about a half hour before they started to "come to"...
anyway, its good that they replaced them!

You got lucky they replaced em so quick. Some suppliers won't replace for 48hrs and then only if the temps are above freezing.
