bulk cricket buyers in hot states
where do yall get yals crickets from? i wouldlike to buy 1000 at a time but i dont know anywhere i can do that. i look online and i dound them at one plACE for 11bucks, but then shiiping cost another 18 dollars. it seems silly to me. i would much rather buy them in bulk bc the closestpet store cost about 10$ in gas to get too. and i hate paying 10cents a cricket. i would hate to order them and they show up dead cause of the heat. a lot of places only gaurantee them up to 90degrees and here lately it is over 100.
also how easy is it to keep that many crickets alive? when i buy them at the store by the time they are all gone it seems like there are a bunch of dead ones at the bottom.
how fast would they breed. anyone got any info on this?
i really think they smell awful i hear roaches are the feeder insect to go with. but they cost usually at least 50cents a piece and that seems like it would take a lot to get a colony going.

BUMP. I'm interested in this too as I've been considering buying in bulk and I live in TX as well.
