Cincinnati - Red Tail Boa
I'm trying to find a general Red Tail my wife and I could get from a Breeder. We'd like to get one in the next couple of weeks, and all the shows around here are a bit away.
We've had a boa before and raised it to be very gentle, but had to find a new home because unfortunately at the time we found ourselves no longer able to care for him as we should. We wanted the best for him and we miss him, and both agreed when we get back on our feet we'd like to get another.
So if anyone knows of any Cincinnati-ish area breeders, or there are any here...help would be appreciated.

I don't have much info for you in regards to Cinci-breeders, but I would like to welcome you to rtb.net! You've come to the right place for information and I wish you luck on your purchase. Have you considered buying one from a breeder online? There are several reputable breeders that frequent this site that would be glad to help you in your venture. Just keep in mind that, although fairly low maintenance, they are a long-term commitment and not something to buy, grow tired of, and adopt out. We'll be here to help you along with any questions that may arise. Again, welcome to the site!

Definately thought of that.
Believe me, we both loved our first and it hurt to adopt him out but we felt it would be a better situation.
I ended up being unemployed over 6 mos, and it would have been difficult to keep him fed.

Hi DigitalBliss....
I live just to the north in Mason and if I may, I'd like to suggest calling Arrowhead Reptile Rescue in West Chester but you'll have to look up the phone number online as I do not have it available at the moment. Damien Oxier is the owner and always has red tails available for adoption. The website does not seem to be working at the moment, and I have sent an email to Damien to inquire why, but incase it does come back up, the address is www.arrowheadreptilerescue.org
I would also suggest checking with the members of the Cincinnati Herpetologial Society here: http://www.cincyherps.com/ there are breeders who are members of that society, or I am sure they could point you in the right direction.
Hope that information helps... welcome!
