I am looking for a good Infrared Thermometer to order through where I work...you know the ones that shoot the laser at something and takes its surface temp? Anyone use these or know of a good one? I'm looking around but I don't really see any reviews to tell me whats good or not...
Thanks
Squirgle

Haven't got the money to order a heat-infrared thermometer yet, but there was a review for one a little ways back.

Thanks, but no thats not what I'm looking for. That was a digital thermometer (probe) not an infrared thermometer (touch free, laser sighted). Here's a link to a bunch of them, maybe someone will recognize a good brand?

Well there we go. Sounds like the 'Temp Gun' is the way to go...far cheaper than the versions I was looking at too. Thanks guys!

Hey Squirgle,
I use the Raytek MT and it may be the greatest thing I have ever bought. It is around $75 new but worth twice that! Morti will tell you that he likes the one I have better than his own. You can hold the trigger on the gun and scan across the surface to find the hot spot! It also reads in degrees and centigrade and runs on a 9 volt battery.
Well worth the investment!!
