Split rodentpro orders in CA....
I was looking to get an order from rodentpro.com as I can't find any rat pups in my local area. I thought the prices were great until I saw the outlandish shipping charges. Anyway, if anyone is in the Orange County, CA area and would like to split a rodentpro order to cut down on shipping, please let me know. Or, if you know where I can get them at a reasonable price, let me know. Thanks in advance!

If you get two bags of pups and one bag of weaned, your cost comes to $84.56 with shipping. Divide that by 75 feedings, and the cost comes to $1.13 per feeding. Not that bad really. Just order more then one bag to adjust for shipping costs if you have to order by yourself. Get a vacuum sealer so you can take the extra two bags of rats and seal them so they keep. I'd split the order with ya, but I still live a bit far from you. That and I order with a few other breeders out here, so my share shipping charges is like $7. We order TONS and get them shipped in two large boxes by greyhound express.

If we put even one more rat in our standard order, we'd end up with another box 95% empty and have to pay another load of shipping charges too! If we get more people involved with our order, then we'd have to get enough to fill another box to save anyone on shippping.

But like you said, even then, we're on opposite ends of the state. Why do you people want to be in northern cali? I'm in my office now, and in less than two minutes WALKING can be in the water. It's beautiful, doesn't rain as much, etc, etc. Y'all need to relocate, then I can join the shipping parade LOL

Well, I like the mountains too, but sheesh, working at the beach here, talk about better scenery. A few more months, and I'll post some pics for ya, LOL. Well, maybe not here, since it's gotta be g-rated.
