Re: Micro Frog Discovered
Pretty cool. I can't believe how small they are. The reference picture for comparison of the penny and frog is fantastic!

“I saw some specimens in museum collections that are over 100 years old,” biologist Indraneil Das, one of frog discovers, said in a press release. “Scientists presumably thought they were juveniles of other species, but it turns out they are adults of this newly-discovered micro species.”

How can they discover something that they saw in a museum collection that was 100 years old? Sounds like they correctly identified a wrongly identified frog instead of discovering it.

Re: Micro Frog Discovered
Others wrongly assumed that the frog was a juvenile of a known species and then these researchers discovered it was actually a previously undocumented species. Until an animal is formally documented it does not exists as far as the scientific community is concerned.
