Jurassic Park?

How scientists are bringing dinosaurs back to life with the help of the humble chicken | Mail Online

Interesting read. I can't say it wouldn't be cool to see a T-Rex but I know a lot of people will say it's humans playing God.

Re: Jurassic Park?

I figure as long as they don't depend entirely on electrified fences, and a weasely-looking Computer networker who'd sell his mother for a slice of cake, then all the power to 'em.

Re: Jurassic Park?

Related aside: Was reading a science periodical (recently published) a few days ago and there was an article on T-Rex in it. What jumped out at me was the research into bone structure and composition. They said that T-Rex spent most of it's time nearly horizontal while standing, and could only run up to around 15mph. This means that it could not keep up with a jeep.....or even a fast sprinter (I walk at over 5mph)

LOL, if we start dissecting Jurassic Park for inaccuracies we'll be here all day.

But incidentally, I've also heard that they are thought to be more scavengers than actual hunters.

Re: Jurassic Park?

Im sure if they "made" a T-rex. They would come up with a better enclosure than electricle wire.

May I quote Razeraze's sig?
