Any nano marine aquarium owners out there???
I just wanted to see if there was anyone else on the forum that is setting up or has set up a nano tank. I recently recieved a 12 gallon biocube at a great price... it is cycled, and has it's first residents, a Randals goby and a pistol shrimp. It is also now reef ready, I bought new very nice bulbs.
Any input on what you would add to the tank???? This is what I was thinking.... Go all out with small pieces of coral, mushrooms, and polyps. For snails: a couple spiny star astraea, nassarius, and olive snails. For the next fish: a green clown goby.
Whatcha guys think????
Anyone have pictures of there set ups????

Re: Any nano marine aquarium owners out there???
I have plans for one in the future. They include going to the pet store and saying "Hi! I have a 10 gallon aquarium that I want a mini-reef in. What do you suggest?"
And after that's all done I want to put spiney star astraea and electric blue hermit crabs in it.
Then if I decided to follow through with some fish- various gobies and/or firefish.
It's a work in progress, so far I have an empty aquarium. lol

Lol Joe... I will have to try to get some good pictures of what I have. It's hard to take pictures through the glass.
Sounds great Chelsy... I do know that you can only have one electric blue hermit per tank. They will hunt each other down and kill one another.

Re: Any nano marine aquarium owners out there???
I have two nano's, a 12g and a 24g. My 24 gallon is a complete mushroom tank. All different colors and mushrooms (some striped, some have dots, etc...) and my 24 gallon houses my RBTA and pair of black clown fish. Nano's are great.
