Need some aquarium advise...
OK...to all you fish enthusiasts out there please help! I have a 120 gallon tank that is no longer water tight...so I was gonna convert it into another snake enclosure. One problem...there's this white film on the inside of the tank that I cant seem to get off. The tank was formerly a saltwater enclosure. I've tried all sorts of household cleaners, even tried scraping with a razor in a small inconspicuous area but this stuff wont come off! Any ideas? If the tanks ruined it's no sweat off my back, but it would be nice to be able to use it. Thanks for any input!

CLR - trust me, it works.
Then after that clean the crap outa it and air it out for a while to get rid of the chemicals.

If the glass is in good shape, you may want to consider selling the aquarium to a fish store or person (Craigslist). Re-sealing an aquarium is fairly simple and doesn't cost much. Use the money from the aquarium to purchase an enclosure designed for herps.

"Lime-off" for fish tanks works GREAT! Your pet store should carry it! Good luck!

Re: Need some aquarium advise...
I used a razor blade. those old once that are double sided. But if someting else works please use it it takes a lot of elbow grease to get all that stuff off. Medusa's cage is also a "retired " salt water tank that one of my ex bosses said "If you remove it from the shop you can have it" was just standing in my store room for 10 years.
