Sad News!!
We are down to one sea horse! Everything was going good!
My mom went to the fish store and there was a new guy working there and sold my mom uncultured live rock which boosted our ammonia levels so high!
They all got ammonia posioning and we are prolly gonna loose our last one! :[
That was $1000.00 bucks in gorgeous sea horses! :[

Re: Sad News!!
Thats not nice. Sorry to hear. I once lost a whole comunitty tank full of fish due to a "unsafe" rock ( hubby thought it would look nice and just drop the rock into the tank before disinfecting it).
Define irony if you want to see sea horses in SA (they knynsa Sea horse is indigions) you need to scuba of the jetty in all the rubbies they have made their house there and found old tyres the best place to breed.

We know the guy that owns the store and he a real cool guy that hooks up on things so we dont really want to go after him or anything like that.
But he helps us out. He fired the guy that did that and is real sorry about it.

Re: Sad News!!
Sorry to hear that!Sea Horses are typically very hard to keep as it is,so I wish you the best of luck saving the last one you have and I hope you can get more at some point because they are fantastic and so fun to watch.

Re: Sad News!!
Sorry to learn about your sea horses.
If the pet store had any fault, by either giving the wrong advice/instructions or selling an improper or unsuitable item, then the fair thing to do, is have them bear some of the responsibility and expense to correct the problem. Usually a calm, reasonable, intelligent conservation produces the best results for both parties. Hopefully the owner would be willing to work with you guys.
