Re: Fish
you know of any aquarium that has a Chaetodontoplus conspiculatus?
I saw one once, and it was one of the most amazing fish I had ever seen.
I would love to know of a place that has one on display

Sorry, I do not. Don't know if Chaetodontoplus duboulayi looks anything like conspiculatus, but for what it's worth the Dallas Zoo has one.

Re: Fish
I have another question for John.
what type of lens/flash are you using to avoid the glare on the tank glass?
thats something i've been trying to work around for years, and never really knew how.

As long as the angle shown (film plane to glass to flash) is greater than 1.8° you should not see a flash reflection on your photo. In other words, get the camera lens as close to the glass as possible and move the flash unit away from the lens.
I used a 18-70mm lens and an external Nikon SB-800 flash.

Re: Fish
ahhh, I never cant my flash up, I have a Canon 5d with a speedlite 580 and a 430, and I guess I could keep that angle, and aim the flash up a little bit.
Im gonna try it tonight!
Thanks!
