Meet Dobbie
This is Dobbie, the slightly roughed up ball...
We adopted him/her from the CharMeck shelter today.
These are believed to be thermal burns.... running most of the length of the body...
Very mellow and not a bit shy

The wounds look like they are on the way to healing up good. Or does the pic make it look better than they really are?
What did the others snakes they had look like?

G'day Dobbie, nice to meet ya!
Don't worry about a thing now, our friend Eddie will have those
sores fixed up for you in no time!
He won't let any nasty ratties or other snakes do that again either.

As far as my experience has served me the only issues that come from scarification is problematic ecdysis. In all actuality i could only speculate thermal scars. Rodent scars could be just as likely. Either way, they are essentially healed.
One question though? Has the snake s/he shown any signs of a slight URI?
Alex
PS: And thanks for taking s/he off our hands.

Hehehe.. you two kids... Silly gooses!
No, Alex, No signs of RIs, either beginning or deepseated, just a new looking juicy spot on the belly. Small bit of what apears to be scalerot.
I got K.McCoy to weigh him for me so that i could get some meds started for him, especially to avoid a secondary infection on the previous injuries.
Anyways, here's a pic of that spot.
