I picked up these two cuteies this morning. They are rescues from a family nearby that felt they didn't have enough time to keep them and give them the attention they need.
The male (as told, not yet probed) is the top pic. As you can see, he suffered a rat bite about a month and a half ago, between his nostrils and his eyes.

The second pic is of the female (also as told, not probed yet). Both of them are in very good shape, no signs of immediate health issues and the bite on the male is healing well at the moment also.

Well, good guess Lori! They are in that range of size.
You enlarged the pics to 100% and measured them , huh?
These two will most likely be up for adoption soon, depending on the males bite and general health stuff, like deworming due to live feeding all their lives....converting to F/T etc.
I looked at the female again and it does look like either an old bite scar or something having taken scales off, like being scraped on the inside of the tank or something.
Their attitudes are great although I was told the male had bitten one of their kids, but this was shortly after the rat bite occured.

LMAO NOOOO Eddie ! I did not enlarge the pic hehe. UMM..I don't think it would have fit on my screen anyway...
With the live feeding ..I'd prolly go with the rodent bite being the cause of that on that female myself...BUT as long as it is healed up,, not a worry on it at this time.
Let us know what you find out and how their doing ....
