I got this lil guy/gal in tonight. It is so weak it cant even hold its head up nor can he keep his tongue from falling out of his mouth. I just hope he is a fighter and gives it his best. My fingers are crossed. I have started him on a liquid diet of pedyalite and baby food w/vitamins. Any other suggestions are welcome at this point. I reeally dont know how this one is going to turn out, I'm working with almost nothing here as far as health goes.

Awww... That poor little guy looks so bad!
Natural sunlight and plenty of calcium, liquids, and protein.
Good luck!

LOTS of sunlight. From what I hear they like to bask at very high temps. Hopefully it will be enough along with the liquid diet to perk him up a bit. Poor lil guy

Well, so far so good. I gave it about 1.5cc when I got home and just went to get it out for a little more before bedtime. It actually moved a bit and had it's eyes open when I reached in so maybe there is some hope for it.
BWW, for now it is in a plastic carrier covered with paperand sitting on top of a heat pad. I have rags in the bottom of the carrier with lots of water for moisture. The little guy seems to be somewhat dehydrated, thats why the soaked rags in the bottom.
I believe there is a calcium deficience going on here too. One of his hind legs dont look quite right although it is hard to tell with it laying down but the tail seems to be a little knotted too.
For now it will be kept on the pedyalite and baby food and in a couple days I will add in some smashed up mealworms and crickets. Calcium supliments and vitamins are mixed in now as well. As for the sunlight, I will have to go out and get a uvb light until the sun comes out long enough to take him out.
All I really know about this guy is it was sick a while back and was taken to a vet. With whatever the vet gave it seemed to get a little better but later turned to the bad again. It stopped eating and you have to figure it stopped drinking too. The owners didnt know what else to do and decided to give up on the little guy. I talked them into meeting me today so I could get it as soon as possible and start working on it. I actually thought it was dead when I saw it at the meeting spot. It didnt move any whatsoever, I had to scratch it on its side to get any kind of reaction out of it and it only opened its eyes at that time.

Most likely a victom of stress....did the people that owned it have kids or free roaming house pet like a cat or dog by chance? did they keep him on display in a heavily trafficed living room? Unfortunatly any needed treatment will likely add to the stress factor as much as helping him...good luck finding the proper balance.

I dont know much, I do know they had kids.
I did manage to get it to open its eyes while holding it to feed. The good thing here is there is noone but me here and the stress level is about nil. Other than feeding it there is no other reason for stress here. I seemed to get a little movement out of it earlier so maybe it will come around. I know how bad they stress but I hope it will deal with me handling it for now and make a recovery.

Well.... We made it through the night. He seems to have a little more spunk than when I first saw him. He actually managed to crawl in my hand a tad this morning, he was trying to reposition and moved up a bit. When I saw crawl, he moved about 1/2 an inch. Not much but I guess it could be a big step for him.

I've had good success using RSU Reptile Jump-Start. It's a concentrated caloric supplement and appetite stimulant for reptiles and amphibians. Here's a link:
