Rescue Gecko
This guy was in bad bad shape. I was told that he hadnt eaten in a week and was having problems shedding.
When he came in he had so much retained shed that all 4 of his feet were "clubbed". There was layer upon layer UPON LAYER of shed on them. I instantly knew he that was going to loose digits.He was immobilized because the shed between his legs was still attched BUT JUST TO THE LEGS. He was hobbled on both sides.
The "hasnt eaten in a week" looked more like a MONTH. Seriously. From lack of nutrition and lack on ability to move, such atrophy has set into his muscles that he was ONLY skin and bones. Literally.
He can not eat on him own. He hobbles along on his elbows basically.
He will have to be hand fed and shed for the rest of his life.
Here are some pics of him AFTER HIS SECOND soak and hand shed.
here is the multiple lays of skin that came out of his ear hole like a plug. Could you imagine what a relief it was for him to have it removed?

Wow... whoever had him before you was very irresponsible...
I feel sorry for the little guy, but I'm sure he'll make a great recovery now that he has an owner that cares about him.

those pics were taken a few weeks ago actually.
by the look of those pics he appears to be some odd morph, but he is actually a normal pet store variety.
He has gained some of his color back. a little weight and is looking alot better. He eats 2 wax worms every other day by hand.
I'll shoot some updated pics soon.

Thank you SO MUCH for taking this little dude in. I've seen some awful cases of MBD, this ranks among the worst of them. I hope he continues to do well for you and I'm very interested in seeing how the little guy is doing now.

 OMG that is so freakin terrible... I'm SOOO glad u have him now! At least he can be more comfortable and have a good home for the rest of his life.... poor little guy  Give him a pet on his lil head for me
