We just picked this one up a little while ago, along with a mali-uro. The former owner dumped them on his business partner and split.
Good news is that they are in what seems to be great health, with both having had shed issues only.
The snake is a ? not sure, boa, but I have no idea yet what kind...
Any way, here's a couple of pics of the snake.

The pictures are kinda dark but might the snake be a Candoia carinata, or some relation thereof? They can be very dark like that to white background with a zig-zag pattern down the back.

What an interesting looking snake ! Good luck with them. The Uro doesn't look like it needs much in the way of rehabbing at all. The snake... IS it supposed to be that thin or what ? [ I am not familiar with this ss at all]

hehe candoia are a pain. If it eats rodents at all...it will likely at any given time hold out and demand anoles on ya...or not....they are fairly unpredictable feeders. What ever ya do, don't breed them. The babies are the size of hair and have to usually be assist fed mouse tail pieces or mouse legs. or teeny tiny frogs.

That is a strange pair to pick up in rescue..... from the information I have picked found on the net I hope for your sake that is a Solomon Island Ground Boa... of the viper boa family the Solomon is supposedly one of the easier ones to keep and better eaters. Good luck with it and if you ever want to part with the boa I will give it a good home

LOL ,just "candoia",and as far as feeding miniature Candoia?...bleh.
Hey all late post i know, but i also "took in" a candoia.
He/she was given to me at a pet store (covered in mites, color is back now though).
This store didnt even know what they had either,it was labeled as an "Indonesian tree boa".
When in fact it (after some research) it turned out to be a "New guinnea ground boa"(same viper look).
So with what i found on the net,and learned from mine,i agree with Savannah babe
