Rescued... Again.
This is the second time I've rescued his snakes from him. I was such an idiot when I believed he'd do better next time. I shouldn't have let him scare me when he said he'd sue me if I kept them. I'm such an idiot.
Aroura: 7' male "Yeah he just kind of stopped eating I guess. He'll probably die."
This is his MIDDLE! HIS MIDDLE! HE'S 7 FEET LONG!
Ruby: "Oh she gets that whenever she gets mites. Get rid of the mites it'll just go right away for a few months."
And the topping on the cake:
"Actually, I'd rather if you just sold them. I want half of whatever you can get for them."
They are so loaded with mites, I spent FOUR CANS of provent-a-mite to make the entire room like a bug warzone.... I spent half an hour scrubbing each snake and still couldn't get all the bugs off. They both have resp infections. Vet appointments are for Monday.
I'm sorry the pictures aren't better, I just... can't, right now. Yes - I will be reporting him. With better pictures. And choice words. I will take him to court if I need to.

Re: Rescued... Again.
What a shame to treat animals that way.
It looks like Ruby has a nice little bite scar on the middle of he head from that one picture.
If he gave up the snakes then I don't think he has the right to be compensated for the money you get out of them.
There is an old saying, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me applies here.
Great job on the rescues again. Hope All turns out for the best.

Re: Rescued... Again.
I looks like Aroura could take a medium sized rat right now just to get some thing in him.

Re: Rescued... Again.
Yes, I'm going to try to feed him tonight....
I don't have room for these snakes. I made room, don't get me wrong, but they completely threw off my food availability, and are currently in heated tubs in the middle of my reptile room.
He didn't have to fool me twice - I should have taken him to court, or reported him, the first time. I am kicking myself so hard now for letting this happen.

Well the bright side of it is that they are still alive - thankfully due to you. So instead of kicking yourself, pat yourself on the back for doing a good thing and taking them to the vet and getting them the care they need.
It's pathetic that people can honestly... have NO heart and allow their animals' health to sink that low.
