LIL IG that came into rescue here today....

Well,, think the pics show what's going on here for this one quite well..UGH....

For those of us that don't have allot of experience with neglect. What's wrong? I know something is , but have no clue what it is though.

Sorry Ed.. Was posting it in a rush I guess..
The ig has MR on the side your looking at for one thing. The mouthrot seems to have traveled upwards to the area of the eye..UGH. Most likely from no treatment for the mR..arghh. The eye cavity is MAJORLY infected as well as the tissue between there and the mouth. I believe that the eye also has had some detrimental affect to it as well. I have checked and can not find an eyeball in the socket even at this point..UGH. Looks as though there is the remnants of one in there though. Bad thing atm.. It's friday... of course.. My herp vet that knows Igs is not o/c at all this weekend.. UGH.. Will get him on monday I guess is all now.

In the meantime.. Have worked on cleaning out his mouth, and some of the eye area and between...applied anti topical and also have given him a shot of baytril too. [ Got the dosing from an IG rescuer that knows it hehe]. This ig has got a good temperament though..considering how he must feel at the moment [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img] Long as I let it see me from the good eye.. it is ok though. If I aproach it from the other side where it can not see me.. it does the mouth gaping thing at me lol.
