Where is a good place to Adopt a Burm in NH?
I'd really like to get a burm, but am unable to find one available for adoption around the NH area.
Anyone know of a place to check?
SPCA does not deal with any snakes, due to the fact that they eat rodents and such.

I've been wondering the same thing. I'd rather save one of the poor babbies out there.

Hmm you might post an ad in the paper in Pets section stating you are looking to adopt a Burm, and how much you would be willing to pay for one..
Also I would leave my name and # with Animal Control and PetStores that dont have Burms..Sometimes they get offered animals and they turn them down..

Thanks. That's a good idea with the paper. I swear before I was looking for a burm they seemed like they were every where. I could always save up and buy from a breeder. I would love an albino patternless, but I just don't have the $250. Maybe my husband will say yes after taxes come in. LOL

Thanks for the help.
I actually just started breeding mice and rats for my other snakes to help free up some of the money I will be spending on feeders in the future.
I wasn't aware that crush has burms for adoption. I'll have to check into that.
I have a few friends that work at Nerds. I never thought to ask them.

I come across one or two a year that are "donated" to me. Keep me posted in a PM or something so I know you are looking. I have no desire to keep a snake that could posibly eat my german sheperd so I try to have a place for them to go before they even get to my house (not to mention that they arent legal to keep here anyways). Tomorrow I have a 6 foot female red tail boa coming in but shes MINE MINE MINE .

Thanks for your contribution, but this thread is from 2006. I suspect that these people either found a burm or stopped looking.
