Actually just a catchy phrase to show pics of the iggy I picked up tonight.
This is a female, caught, yes, CAUGHT, in the wilds of a local carolina beach about 3 weeks ago. It is pretty tame so I don't think it has been out for too awful long but am not sure if it's an escape or a set loose type situation. Tame to me means no blood drawn from the claws, and no tail whipping either!

I went outside for a bit and forgot to hit submit.. so Eddie may have evn answeredf this already...oops.. Anyway.. here's what I had put in a reply here...
<TABLE BORDER=0 ALIGN=CENTER WIDTH=85%><TR><TD><font class="pn-sub">Quote:</font><HR></TD></TR><TR><TD><FONT class="pn-sub"><BLOCKQUOTE> Did you have it vet checked yet? just wondering. </BLOCKQUOTE></FONT></TD></TR><TR><TD><HR></TD></TR></TABLE>

Umm I am not eddie, obviously BUt I thhink I could prolly answer the question for you anyways. I personally would &quot;presume&quot; that your answer to the question at hand would be NOPE. Now, Before anyone goes asking just why not here's some further info on Eddie....

He does rescue and rehab with reptiles.
Therefore he pretty much prolly has more education/experience with the Iguana than most vets do
Not sure but Eddie may even be one of us who does his own fecals/mics on reptiles even. I think he is but not 100% sure of it.
The Iguana does not appear , in pics, to be one that is health jeopardized and therefore , under rescue would not need such a vet visit.
us &quot;rescuers&quot; need to &quot;hold out&quot; on spending available funds so that such is available when/if we get a rescue that truly needs to see a vet.

hope that clarifies a bit here...

Well, Lori pretty much covered it.
But since no immediate concerns are present, then no need to go to a vet .
If there were concerns, yes, maybe, depending on what it was.
