ball python chick will become famous soon enough
wild caughts are finally eating

2 months ago i went to a pet store and was looking at the 3 ball pythons they had. i could tell they were imports.the guy there was bragging them up to me when i interupted him and asked for tweezers and rubbing alcohol. he got confused and asked me why and i said i needed them so i could start removing the ticks.he said ticks, ticks where? i replied all over. one had so many ticks on one eye the eye really wasnt noticable. they got 6 in at 20.00 each and where selling them for 70.00 each.they had sold 3 ball pythons to people to inexperianced to know what they were buying.the worker told the manager about the ticks and his reply was i will take care of it later.i knew at that moment they were coming home with me.i paid 100.00 for all 3,they were loaded with ticks and had not yet ate in captivity not to mention they hadnt been socialized at all and were very nasty being adults. once home i removed 32 ticks. has anyone ever used provent a mite. the 20.00 a can mite and tick killer its awesome and worth every penny.ive never had to use it more than once. anyway i had offered food over the course of the month and no one would show intrest. i finally wormed the ballpythons with flagyl and within a few weeks they started eating.i heard that flagyl has been said to stimulate the appetite and now im a believer. they are eating once every 5 to 7 days.next comes the socializing part.
