Hey, Squeezer? Why do bring up the word "broker" alot? Brokering is selling, we do not sell any of the adoptees. I think you are obsessing way to much over this whole thing. Don't worry, we won't take over your "territory". All I wanted to do, was to get a nice website up and going to help Kathy and Rachel get the word out, that's it. You've always had a problem with Rachel and I, and I don't know why. As far as education goes, I took me 3 months to learn algebra, 3 months to learn geometry, and 2 months to learn Greek, Roman, and Norse mythology. That is 8 months worth of studying. My friends and neighbors consider me a knowledgable person. Why? Because I read and studied. I have read and studied books and magazines on Snakes and Reptiles for 4 years. Does that make me experienced enough? I just want to make sure I have your permission to own my snakes and monitor. What you need to do is, sit back and worry about your life in good ol' Georgia and relax. We are not in competition, we are just trying to help the reptiles. "I took me 3 months to learn"? everything but grammar apparently. Since you bring up math, lets talk geometry. ok? What is the closest distance between 2 points? That's right! not through a broker. And yes you are brokering/selling snakes. Not all sales are for cash...You guys are being paid in pride, gluttony, and just the need to try and control others. Also, I have talked to some people that have been offered animals for sale from you guys. So don't just flat out lie here to people that know better. Where did the leos come from that you are selling? Kinda strange how you never posted pics of them when you "bought" them. and if you did buy them, why are you getting rid of them so soon? to make room for sand boas? If you are having to dump off something so small as a couple of leos to make room for sand boas, your at full capacity anyway.

Freak, I too am just trying to help the animals. I am not enjoying dragging Rachel through the mud. I am just tired of hearing about her stepping all over peoples toes in a mad rush to get animals she won't or can't keep anyway just so SHE can be in charge of who does get them. Meanwhile the animals are dying because you guys can't control such simple things as mites or the urge to chokehold innocent ratsnakes.

I noticed ALOT of people are upset on miceonice.com because BB is ALWAYS the first 1 to say "you got mail" or even the 3rd or 4th one and 4 some odd reason she ends up with these animals and tries to adopt them out later. Now be honest BB is it because at first you get the animals for free and then SELL them? I am a little confused I guess now. Will you fill me in a little please? You know I do not like to read, but I sat here and read this whole thread. I am convinced that there is a lot of unseen personal problems between BB and jules. Now I have talked to both of you in extent and have a very respectable opinion of both of you. I do not know what there are and really do not care. The whole point of running a rescue operation id the care of the reptiles. I know for a fact the BB has spent many hours talking to me about certain ways to help " rehab" these animals. Now lets get one thing staight here I am not trying to get in the middle of this at all. I would however suggest that if you want to get your point across, dragging someone through the mudd is not the way to do this. I agree that the application is a little overextensive, but I am sure it for the reason of making sure that the snake is going to a qauility home. Come on with all the bad press the reptile community is getting due to strupid retile owners, can you really blame her. IN the name of rodney king " can't we all just get a long"

I wouldn't exactly call it personal...I did however sever any freindship with her back when I caught her in a lie which I have documented and she has admitted to and then have seen many since and even now in this thread....I could really do some serious mud dragging if I wanted to....but choose to just stick with the problem at hand which is affecting the health and wellfare of animals as well as stepping on other people's toes.

Actually, that is controlled by each state. I'm just about finished my animal rehab class, 2 more weeks to go. And in North Carolina, you do not need a permit to rehab reptiles. You need one for everything else, and a federal permit for birds. EVERY bird but 3 types, starlings, sparrows and one other, a type of dove I think, are FEDERALLY protected.

Besides, most states definition of rehab is treating the animal's problems and releasing it back to the wild, not pets that have been abandoned.

As far as knowledge, having it is one thing, being able to apply it is another thing. You need to know to watch for signs that are the warnings before a condition sets it, not just the symptoms of an existing illness.

Anyone that can take in a snake, treat it with meds (oral, injectable, deworm etc), sutcher it up and get it back to happy and healthy, THAT's rehab to me.

I'm not taking sides in this. Maybe I just don't care to the emotional extent the concerned parties do. One thing I learned is one person cannot save everyone or everything. At some point, you need to know your limits, be that bashing someone's incapabilities or trying to save everything.

In that vein that I would never adopt an animal out to someone I didn't know, so too would I never adopt one from someone I don't know.

This is for anyone who is gaining up on rachael about the green burmese. WE ADOPTED HIM FROM RACHEL IN FEB. HE IS HERE AND IN VERY VERY GOOD HEALTH. I HAVE PICS OF HIM AND PICTURES OF MYSELF AND HIM. He is a wonderful snake. I have adopted 3 Burms from rachel and they all eat like pigs and are very healthy. Rachel is a good person for doing what she does! I hope that the people running there mouth about the green burm SHUT UP. they have no IDEA what they are talking about!

Two things are painfully obvious here. One is that you were sent here by Rachel to take up for her because you have a friendship based on free or atleast inexpensive snakes. 3 burms is it now? Funny, she was telling everyone else here that once you adopt one then you go to the end of the line to give others a chance. You guys must have offered more money. anyway...the other obvious thing is that you have not read this entire thread. I suggest that you do that and then get back with me. There will be a test.

here is all i have to say about it all. We adopted the 3 burmeses. We didn't pay more to adopt them! We drove 8 hours to get them and we have had them since. They are all healthy and are in good care. What ever is going on between u and BB is none of my business but i am not going to let u put her down and say a snake was still in a bin, or dead, when the snake is here with me! I am not taking a damg test b/c i don't have to prove myself to u or anyone. I know the truth and i have pics of all the burmeses we adopted from BB with myself and my kids. i am not trying to get involved in this. i have the green burm, and i also have the other two burms that were up for adoption on mice on ice. i pd. $50 for the 7fter, $50 for the green and $10 for the 3fter! since u think i pd more. if u want pics i will send them to u give me your e-mail b/c i have plenty of them!

well....since you showed up in chat and was enlightened of the goings on by pretty much everyone in there...I guess now you understand. Please in the future try to hear both sides before you go off on someone. Noone here is trying to crucify anyone. We just really don't like being lied to and lied about behind our backs to have adoptions stollen out from under us. That is all.

Ok..time to jump in with my answers to all the bs being posted on this matter here , and elsewhere for that matter...BUT I wil not be posting the same stuff on all the different forums they need to be placed in/on. I opened a page on my site and have started with a post in relation to a teensy % of the issues so far there. I will be adding until such time as it is complete also on that page.
