Boa rescue
This is a boa that I just got a call on.
He got out of his enclosure 3 months ago and was found yesterday. He'll be going in with me to work in the morning to hopefully get fixed. This is not a prolapsed hemipene. This is through the body wall. Ribs are exposed, but the good news is he deficated. Hopefully nothing major is involved.
 He is such a beautiful snake. |

I just got the little guy out of surgery. Everything that was hanging out of the body wall was mainly fat and a few vessles, so hopefully he'll do ok. Infection is the main concern now. I'll post pictures tonight when I get home.

Pagen? ok something tells me the "previous" owner believed in the Pagen religion. if he were mine...i would so change the name to something like Wallace, or Bob...lol

Pagan, huh? Maybe it belonged to Kim (different Kim). Oh wait, it's not in the belly of a Dumeril's...so it couldn't have been Kim's.
Seriously though, that guy looks bad. I hope he makes it. I've seen what you've done with other rescues before, so I know you can do it.
