ugh...our lack of extra funds plus our inability to get off work long enough to go on vacation apparently we are valuable or something LOL, they dont want us to cut our hours or leave  |

Seriously! You wouldn't believe how hard I had to fight to get two weeks off to spend with Henry. I guess I'm needed even though they treat me like crap.

I don't have enough vacation days for all the time I'm taking off... Two weeks for Henry's homecoming, Halloween weekend to visit my best friend who is normally stationed in NC but will be in San Antonio, a weekend in Vegas, and Henry's birthday (the day after Thanksgiving). My manager hates me lol. But I've had all of these requests in for MONTHS and there's no real reason to deny them. It's just a hassle lol.
